This generous rope length also makes it a good leash if you like to go jogging with your dog. All stitching around the leash seams are double, machined stitched to prevent fraying. However, both the rope and plastic binding are not chew-proof so could be vulnerable to power chewers or more destructive behavior.

Ok, so what about the collar attachment? Well, the clasp is fitted to the rope with an adequate plastic cover and is pretty durable, using a secure bolt rather than a snap clip. The loop is a nice size and works with even very large hands, but the rope doesn’t feel too wide as you take hold.
