In August of 2020, Busch, the much-loved beer production company, announced that they would be releasing a series of non-alcoholic dog beers for our canine pals. This new development was met with much enthusiasm. So after the resounding success and rapid sell-out of their first line of dog-beers, released just over six months ago, Busch has announced that they will be doing the same again in 2021.

On April 14th, 2021, Busch made the announcement via an endearingly funny video hosted by “the Busch Guy” on their Instagram page. They are looking to hire a pooch on a $20,000 salary to become their Chief Tasting Officer! The responsibilities of the Chief Tasting Officer will be to taste the new flavors being created for their new Dog-Brew line.

Their Instagram post caption goes into a bit of detail as to what the roll has to offer:

“YOUR DOG could be hired as our Dog Brew Chief Tasting Officer with a $20,000 SALARY!

As our pawfessional taste-tester, they’ll also be the face of Busch Dog Brew with a benefits package of Healthcare (pet insurance) and Company Stock (free Dog Brew).”

Busch’s first, extremely successful line of dog-brew was available in a four-pack of 12-ounce cans. The main ingredient in this first line of dog-beers was bone broth, followed by turmeric, bone-in pork butt, basil,  ginger, whole corn, mint, and celery, for a myriad of delicious canine-friendly flavors.

As the Busch Guy explains in their promotional video, “It will be your sole responsibility to shepherd the great taste of Busch, research new flavors, take on pet projects. Your bark will have to be as good as your bite.”

Getting your dog involved is an easy enough process; Busch advise that the way to apply for this tasty opportunity is to post up a picture of your pup, with any qualifications that could help their cause, with the hashtag #BuschCTOContest for them to be in with a chance to get the job.
