LAPD Officers Rescue Tiny Puppy

An Extraordinary Pup In Need

LAPD officers of the Hollywood Division were doing their rounds when a tiny puppy gamboled up to them, clearly wanting to be rescued.

Officers Mercado and Tavera were enamored by the adorable little pup. They found him on Hobart Boulevard, which later became his name. The puppy was so excited to see kind, human faces that he instantly warmed to them, too. He wagged his little tail as he followed them down the street. The dog was obviously lost and hoping the police officers would rescue him.

Answering A Call to Duty

Luckily for him, these LAPD officers answered their duty’s call to protect Los Angeles’ tail-wagging citizens. Mercado and Tavera scooped up the puppy and took him back to the police station without hesitation. In the car, Hobart couldn’t stop cuddling and nuzzling with his rescuers. He was clearly at home with the officers who’d found him. It was like an act of fate they had found him on that street.

A Happily Ever After

Hobart was just as welcomed at the police station. He continued loving on anyone who crossed his path and gained admiration from all the other officers. The station agreed that Hobart needed a forever home, and decided to drop him off at a local shelter. But officer Mercado couldn’t bear to let Hobart go. Head over heels, the officer decided to adopt him later that day. Mercado took Hobart home to his family, who welcomed the tiny puppy with open arms.
