Training: Introduction to Tug

Tug is a great game for dogs of all ages because it’s a good energy burner, you don’t need a lot of space, and you can weave in some basic training (and not to worry—it won’t make your dog aggressive). There are some basic rules you need to know in order to play a safe game of tug with your dog though, including how to begin the game, how to position your hand, and how to end the game.
