It takes a certain kind of dog to make it into a program like Puppies Behind Bars. Meet Ben. Ben is a 6-month-old, male, black Labrador Retriever. Ben is from East Coast Assistance Dogs. He lives with Jason, his inmate puppy raiser, and is in the process of learning almost 80 different commands so that he can move on to live in a home as a service dog.
