Tom from Tom and Jerry

Forever caught in the game of cat and mouse, Tom was the one who could never get his way. Jerry was an exceptionally smart mouse and always one step ahead of Tom.

And let's not forget a great number of adorable animated cats like Garfield, Felix the Cat, Sylvester of Looney Tunes or Azrael from the Smurfs.

Murray from Mad About You

The Buchmans had one thick-headed dog. How could he not be since he was always chasing an invisible mouse and kept bumping into things?

Murray or to call him by his real name, Maui, is a beautiful Collie mix who was rescued from a shelter in true rags to riches story (well, he ended up as a star on TV, didn't he? It does not get more rags to riches then that).

Chester from Nanny

In the sitcom The Nanny Chester was technically owned by C. C. Babcock, but he took to nanny, Fran Fine immediately.

In real life, Fran Drescher got the cute red Pomeranian from a pet store and since she took the premise of take your dog to work day seriously, Chester got a role on the show.

Chester was with Drescher for 18 years until she had to put him to sleep due to old age.
