I just lost 2 dogs this year, from old age and cancer. I adopted 2 beagles, from 2 different shelters. One was a year old, and the other six years old. I am very happy with them. When looking for dogs, try an older one, they are potty train, and have so much to give. They are also check for temperament, have their shots and are neuter. They bring so much joy, to my household.
