When your dog is in danger, Steve Gustafson of Lake County, Florida is the guy you want around. When his own beloved pooch was in danger of being eaten by a 130-pound, seven-foot alligator, this 66-year-old grandfather wrestled said alligator to save his dog. Gustafson reported that he was doing yard work when he heard his West Highland Terrier, Bounce, yelp. By the time Gustafson made it to the scene, the gator had his dog in his mouth and was pulling her into a nearby pond. The only thing he could think to do was to wrestle the alligator to free his pup. Luckily both Gustafson and the dog were unharmed.
We bet that alligator won’t come hunting around Gustafson’s hood again anytime soon.
