As anyone who has ever watched DeGeneres’s show will know—she’s about the biggest animal fan you can find. This year DeGeneres could top the list for many reasons, but we’ll stick with one specific accolade. Earlier this year DeGeneres partnered with Sojo Studios to help create and market Joy Kingdom, a game in which players earn a currency that they can then contribute to projects focused on helping animals. Anything that combines fun with acts of charity, and especially those involving animals, is something we can definitely get behind.
