Roaches are one of the most germ-ridden home invaders out there. To get rid of them: Get a bait gel, such as Maxforce FC Select Roach Bait Gel, that contains fipronil, an insecticide commonly found in pet flea and tick treatments. Before applying, remove all pet bowls and toys from the room. Avoid over-applying, and only place the gel in areas that aren’t reachable by your dog or cat, such as underneath the kitchen counter and alongside the interior of the door frame in drawers. Also make sure that all treated areas are dry before you let your pets back in the room.
