The Labrador Retriever is playful, loving and hardworking. The Lab can be counted on as a true friend. Labs work as guide dogs, search-and-rescue dogs, and for narcotics detection. They are also one of two breeds used in the Puppies Behind Bars Program.
Fun Fact: Eighteen different dogs played Marley at various stages of his life in the tearjerker film "Marley and Me."

Mutts are the best dogs out there.
I do not agree with this top 10. They may be the most popular breeds, but not the best. Chihuahuas have a very hig rate of nastiness. Pomeranians and yorkies are very snippy generally. They nip at ankles. And German Shepherds, though a great personality, are so overbred that almost every one has hip displaysia.If dogs were supposed to walk on their hocks they would have a pad there.

My favorite breeds are the Golden,Pembroke welsh corgi,and papilon,if thats how you spell it.
All 6 of my mixes are the best! 2 Chow/? mixes, a golden retriever/chow mix, a blue heeler/chow mix, a border collie/? mix, and one is a mix that I don't even know!
