After the invitations have been sent, the venue rented, the band hired, the champagne selected, the menu perfected, the flowers arranged, and the dresses and tuxes fitted and refitted, one giant detail of the wedding planning remains: How can your pet take part in your big day?

We've gathered some of the cutest photos of cats and dogs whose owners chose to mix "bow-wows" and "meows" with their vows.

Since this French Bulldog is named Tuck, it seemed only appropriate to dress him in a tux!

Michael, who took the photograph, says, "He was a big hit at the reception. The couple getting married assigned a friend to be Tuck's handler/wrangler for the day and evening. It was great to have this dashing little rescue dog as part of the celebration."
