Photos: Military Dogs in Honor of Veteran's Day

While Veteran’s Day is officially observed each year on November 11th, we should remember to be thankful for the service of our armed forces each and every day. Those armed forces include patriots with paws. Military dogs assist members of the armed forces in many ways, including sniffing out drugs and bombs, finding victims of natural disasters, and lifting the morale of injured troops. With this in mind, we honor the work of our canine companions in the field by celebrating all the hard work they do. Click through to see photos of courageous military dogs helping to protect our freedom in every way they can.
