Beowulf, a Boxer, was the 1st place winner of the race. Here he poses with Nathan, his owner and current Yale graduate student. Nathan took Beowulf in at only 3 or 4 weeks old, when the dog's breeder suddenly passed away. Now 3 years old, Beowulf runs 5Ks and 10Ks with Nathan all the time!
