My favourite breeds are English Bull Terriers and Staffordshire bull terriers which we have kept since 1947. Both very loyal and loving breeds

No Border Collie? They were bred on both sides of the Anglo-Scottish border, and very popular in Northern England, for herding sheep; it's very much a traditional English and Scottish dog!

What about the English Springer Spaniel? They are the sweetest, smartest and most loyal dogs....aside from the labrador retriever.

Very surprised to not see any bulldogs on here, seeing as they are widely known as the national dog of England? :)
