This pooch’s name is Bo, and he was named that way before Bo Obama came into the picture. “My son Kunal named him, it was supposed to be Bow (as in the sound the dog makes)… I hope my son doesn’t name his kids,” jokes Sushanta Bhandarkar.
Sushanta lives in the Bay Area and runs a non-profit program called Empowering World Change. She says Bo is “a little brother to my 11 year old. He teaches him how to act responsibly, find joys in simple things and it's really nice to see both of them play so well together. Bo has been a blessing for this family - a wagging tail sometimes is all people need after a rough day!”
