The dogs return the favor by helping little Kaarina when she sleeps. Alisa says, “My daughter has always been a fearful sleeper, so we often put a dog in her room at night. It keeps her from coming out a million times because of monsters who are hiding in her closet. She knows the dogs will scare the monsters away.”
“And they are warm. I keep the heat set low in the winter, so all of the family members love cuddling with a warm dog,” she added.
