Dear Santa:
Good wishes to you and your family from Soho-downtown, New York City. I am sure you that Mrs. Claus, the elves and the reindeers are busy preparing for your trip from the North Pole. Please take care and have safe travels.
Since I am the oldest dog in my family, I am always appointed to take care of canine business. I just wanted to let you know that my brothers (Thames and Teign), sister (Rhone), our neighbor (Little Z) and I have been very good this year. We have stayed on our diets, chewed less pairs of shoes, and are more tolerant when having our teeth brushed. In Little Z's case, she is much friendlier to strangers and has practically stopped chasing her family's cat. She is West Highland White Terrier-need I say more.
I am writing because I wanted to send you our Holiday Wish List. Although it would be nice to have new sweaters and coats, toys are less expensive and can keep us occupied, all year round, indoor and outdoor, and in all kinds of weather. Below please find a list of the toys that we would like to have.
Thank you very much, Santa. Not only are children happy to have you visit, but us dogs, are too! And Santa, like last year, your snack's on the kitchen counter and the reindeer treats are on the wind sill.
Best Wishes,
P. Hudson Francis Babbage
