You are wrong about Dogs being omnivores. Dogs are not. They are Carnivores. All omnivores or herbivores have have broad, flat back teeth. And flat teeth are ideal for grinding grains and plant material into finer particles. Dogs, like all carnivores, have narrow pointy back teeth that are sharp, perfect for chomping and cutting meat into smaller pieces. Dogs do not do well with carbohydrates which turn into sugars, and in turn turn into fat. Dogs to NOT need a grain based diet at all.. As a matter of fact, if you pet is itching and scratching, or gnawing at itself, this is probably due to the diet. Get your dog off of Corn, Wheat, and Soy. This will improve the itching dramatically. Grain Free foods for your pet is the way to go.

Thanks Jason for your post. I just submitted a much shorter version befroe I read yours. If this site states something so obviously incorrect, I don't think they have any credibility at all and wouldn't believe anything they publish!
