I have a 5 year Pit/chow/wolf/Shepard mix. She has the ears of a Shepard..long and pointy and she has really long nails. I have had a extremely hard time with cutting her nails because her nails a white and the quick is really long. To technically there is really not alot to cut. The other problem is that I was standing above her one day an I noticed she had alot of wax in her ears but it was way down. It hurt me to my heart to see that because, I clean my ears everyday and the same should be for my two dogs. She is soo sensitive with her ears, mouth and feet. She weighs about 65pounds uses her weight to push away so I called her over to me and she sat sideways and I got a gauze with some ear solutions and tried to clean her ears and she yelped out loud and ran from me. I didn't try again. I need help with a solution to get her ears cleaned....she is so strong that she pulls away with ease.I just bought some ear health ear cleaning pads to try again. Any suggestions to help me get her ears cleaned without hurting her.
