The warmblood horse is a mix between draft horses (cold bloods) and thoroughbreds (hot bloods). Their name has nothing to do with the actual temperature of their blood. It is the most common breed in show jumping and dressage. They mostly come from Europe and there are hundreds of different types such as Dutch Warmblood, Trakehner, Selle Français, etc.
