hi and good morning, as i'm looking at these pictures and especially the one where this dog is with little boy and a smaller dog, it sort of reassures me that this type of dog isn't really mean with smaller dogs, because i have a little chihuahua, and my daughter has this beautiful tan /white paws ridge back. but why does he has a hard time getting along with other people and dogs? my daughter is taking him to a trainer, is that a good thing? i hope that you respond...thank you very much...sincerely rosas

awwww my babies - they are incredibly great dogs to have.

Thats my boy. He is so sensitive. He is a real good example of kind but firm training. Harsh methods turn these dogs off.

they do look very handsome, my dughter has a 8month old ridgeback, he's a lighter tan color with "white boots". how long did it take you to train them? did you have the problem with their being social with other dogs and people? or little kids? i hope you answer, i really really ned to reassure my daughter. because she loves him so so much. sincerely, rosa
