Breed Profile - Ragdoll

  • 1 of 8

Origin

Ragdolls are so popular because of their laid-back attitude, which is what initially attracted a breeder named Ann Baker. In 1960, after her free-roaming cat had a litter of surprisingly gentle kittens, Baker decided to breed these fuzzy companions who have become the endearing ragdoll breed.

I want blue eyes like that. and believe me I have blue eyes that got me my husband so this is an honest comment. What beautiful cats.

Were I younger I'd add to the cats (3) we have now plus 4 dogs.. all from Rescues. We have done this for over 30 years - you stray - you stay.
