To the person below that wanted to know the difference between a Egyptian Mau and lynx point Siamese. The Siamese will appear lighter overall and only have the striping on the face, paws, and tail, and maybe a it of light striping along the spine. The Mau will have the spots and striping on the whole body. Do a google image search for both and you will see what I mean.

I forgot to mention she runs like a speeding bullet,and full of energy.she doesnt like to hang out around my other cats would rather be by herself.

I adopted a cat from the Pasadena Humane society about 5 months ago. I'm not sure if she is full blooded Egyptian Mau, but it is definitely her predominant gene pool. She is extremely intelligent, athletic, and curious of everything and everybody. I get the feeling that she is my guard kitty - she usually sits where she can keep an eye on me in case I get into trouble. This picture is the spitting image of my rescued kitty, Coco. After owning an Egyptian Mau I don't think I'd want to adopt any other breed of cat. Sincerely, Lisa
