I have 2 mini eskies right now. my boy "Max" past away in Feb. from what we believe was a heart attack. My other boy "Bailey" went to live with my daughter and her family so I have my two girls Katy and Rylee! Hands down they are the sweetest, most cuddly, smartest, loving ..... well I have at least a million more things I could add but I'll leave it at my life just would have an incredibly gigantic hole without my babies. They are the BEST! Eskie's make the world go round!!!

My mother-in-law owns an American Eskimo that is now 8 years old. When she was first given to her my husband & I were in the same room and she had never met any of us but went right to my mother-in-law. It's like she knew that she was suppose to be her guardian! She got renamed to Baby and the only issue that my mother-in-law has with her is her high pitched bark other than that Baby is her Best Friend!

I have a 3 year old Mini Eskie, Tundra, after having several dog breeds (big & small), she is by far the best dog I have ever had. My husband went from calling her a rat to her snuggling up to him each night. She is even good with my 7 month old!

I have a 2 year old mini- Eskimo that has become the ears to our 10 year old Doberman Pinscher. Letting everyone in the house know if someone or something is "off" or different in her territory. Her attitude is every bit as big as our older dog but she always waits so her muscle pal can catch up.

But we have encountered a few health issues with her unfortunately. The biggest one is her Epilepsy which came to light when she was 18 months old. Luckily we have been able to control quite well with medication, only having 2 seizures in the last 4 months. The other issue is allergies, haven't been able to pin point exactly what it is that bothers her yet but it seems to only effect her in the early spring. Even with all the little issues we do have with her, she is a huge part of our family and I certainly couldn't imagine my life without her!
This is the dog that has changed me into "that dog lady" LOL

I have an 8-year-old standard-size Eskie that I adopted from a shelter 18 mos. ago. She was very shy at first and scared of children but has come out of her shell with obedience training and is now quite confident and social. I am her "person" though, and while she associates well with others, I'm the only one she wants to snuggle with, which is fine with me. She is incredibly loyal and obedient.
