Melanie found the two piglets near their ranch in their former location in Mena, Arkansas. At first she thought it was a puppy that was dumped, but upon investigation she discovered two tiny infant piglets. “It had been raining, the air was chilly and they were shivering. I'm certain they would not have survived the night. They weren't even old enough to eat on their own. We had to bottle feed them once I got them home,” she said.
Melanie and Jim named the piglets Mimi and Nina, and they now live with the rest of the two and four legged family in their new home in Lincolnton, Georgia. Melanie said the pigs could be a cross between a Razorback and a domestic sow.
