Justin Bieber may be a teen heartthrob but his hair is helping animals in need.
Earlier this year he donated a lock of his hair in a signed box to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, who then sold it on eBay. The hair sold for a whopping $40,000, all of which was donated to the animal rescue charity Gentle Bark Foundation.
An online gambling casino, GoldenPalace.com, which collects pieces of pop culture, purchased the hair.
Now we just hope more pet lovers with star power team up in equally creative ways!
