Behind the Scenes Photos from Puppy Bowl: Past and Present

I’ve worked on Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl for the past six years, and boy has the show gone through an evolution! We started off filming in a tiny room at Discovery headquarters in Bethesda. The set took up more than half of the room, so the crew had to dance over and around each other to get our jobs done. Notice the big crane camera in this photo … in standoffs between human and camera, the camera always won. (Yes, I’ve been conked on the head a few times.)
