Banana Joe's Westminster Kennel Club Fame Tour

After winning the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, Affenpinscher Banana Joe met the wide world. Click through for photos!

Last week, an adorable Affenpinscher named Banana Joe took home the top prize in American dog showing: the Best in Show title at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. So how did the 2013 Best in Show winner spend his first 24 hours as America's most famed dog? Like most celebrities, Banana Joe spent his day making TV appearances, meeting other celebrities, dining at famous restaurants and enjoying photo opportunities at popular places, including making an appearance in a Broadway play, "The Mystery of Edwin Druid", at Studio 54.

Along for the ride were his handler, Ernesto Lara, caregiver Carlos, co-owners Dr. William and Tina Truesdale and the voice of Westminster, David Frei. Of course, Frei didn't mind sharing the spotlight with the new celebudog. Westminster staff members were on tour too to keep fans updated on Banana Joe's every move. Even a publicist from 5WPR tagged along to manage the pup's press inquiries.

Joe handled his fame like a seasoned veteran. Click through to see exclusive photos from this Westminster winner's Fame Tour and first 24 hours as America's most famous dog!
