Architects For Animals Unveils Innovative Shelters For Feral Cats

The third annual "Architects For Animals Giving Shelter" event took place last night, showcasing eight innovative cat shelter designs from renowned architecture firms. All of the shelters will be placed in feral cat colonies in the New York City area to help provide warmth and safety during the freezing winter months. The event supports the New York City Feral Cat Initiative, which seeks to control New York's feral cat overpopulation problem through humane, non-lethal methods like trap-neuter-return.

Click through to see some of these cutting-edge shelters and to find out how you can buy or build one yourself.
