You and your pet can visit some of the country’s most haunted pet friendly hotels this Halloween season; that is, if you’re not scared of apparitions fumbling for keys to your room, phones ringing when there are no lines hooked up, and long-dead nurses pushing gurneys down hallways.

These hotels are good for a scare any time of the year, though, and most of them also offer ghost tours, which gives you a feel for the ghosts you might encounter, as well as a history of the hotel and its surroundings.

You might even find your pet barking or hissing at an unseen presence!
