25. Arlene Corona

People have long been taking their clothes off for the sake of art, but Arlene Corona took them off this year for the sake of her dog.

Last month, the 20-year-old donned her bikini and high heels and stood at an intersection in La Jolla, Ca., for six days, holding a sign asking for help in finding her Chihuahua, Chispita.

Happily the dog was found—at the Carlsbad animal shelter—and Corona resumed her garb.

She was determined to see her dog again, no matter what it took.

“Against my family's wishes, I will be skipping my family Thanksgiving celebration this year and standing out there alone in an effort to be reunited with my dog,” she told NBC San Diego. “Thanksgiving won't be the same without Chispita.” We applaud the guts and creativity it took to find Chispita; We're certainly inspired.

Great way to draw attention to your dog being missing and it worked good for her.Lauren Phillips
