Gregory Popovich is crisscrossing the country with his Las Vegas show the Comedy Pet Theater, a blend of juggling, balancing acts and performing pets.
The family-friendly act features 16 cats and 14 dogs that have gone from straydom to stardom.
Some push baby carriages or jump rope while others glide across the stage on scooters. Popovich, the son of Moscow circus performers, partners with shelters in visiting cities, helping them raise money and encouraging them to hold adoption events in the lobby before the show.
"We try to send a message to public that if they are looking for new puppy or new kitty for their family, to make their first visit to the local animal shelter," he says.
