For a relaxed, country-style vacation, try the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Take the scenic drive to the Biltmore Estate and village or take a garden walk in between your stay at one of the areas many B&Bs and pet-friendly hotels. You could also camp out under the stars with your four-legged friends. If driving isn’t your thing, dogs are allowed on the more than 100 trails throughout the Parkway, ranging from easy valley strolls to demanding mountain summit hikes. Dogs on the Parkway much be on a leash not to exceed six feet, or otherwise under physical control at all times.
