I rescued a dog 12 years ago that I thought was a mutt. He looks just like your dog. Recently a vet told me that he is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Check it out at www.akc.org/breeds/nova_scotia_duck_tolling_retriever

Luv that dog.Reminds me of our dog Jake,except he was a golden lab mix {mother} and a springer spainel {father}.We had to put him down in July cause he had cancer.Wish we could get another one.Have empty nest and lots of love to give.

I adopted a mutt last November 5th....she is a great dog,but very wild around other dogs....any advice?
