This is one contented, happy, dog. And, lots of owners don't know that dogs of all breeds. Feel good, believing that they are "working", by pulling, carrying, and protecting
things for us.
The happy dog, in this picture, is carrying a special back-pack, that is made for dogs. Besides, things for you.
They can carry food, water and collappsible bowls for your dog to.

i have 4 rotties maggie lilly maddox and lil ben they are very good dogs loving too but 1 thing you have to tell them as a small puppy what doggies should do and not do
1 more tip if ever punishing a rottie always kick them in the head never in the hips -they have very bad hips-

Kelly Lambert June 25, 2009 4:30 PM

I had a rotwieller named Sissy. She was the most loyal dog in all the world she was my best friend. When my little girl came home from the hospitalwhen she was born she would lay in front of my Julie's room everynight. Sissy was the most loving, caring, fun loving, dog I have ever owned. Sissy passed away when she was 7 years old with Pneumonia. I miss my little Sisserbug. I love you!!

How can you even suggest punishing a dog by kicking it in the head?! I would never hurt my dog like that.

pjwatson July 8, 2009 10:48 AM

You should never hit a dog in the head. How would you like to be hit in the head?

james wing July 8, 2009 6:45 PM

Linda August 10, 2009 7:28 AM

In response to Kara - kicking a dog in the head - you should be banned from keeping animals - you clearly have no idea!

melissa August 10, 2009 2:21 PM

hope kara get found by dog patrol and has her dogs taken off her i would never hit my dogs.thats y so many dogs turn its the owners that need training not the dogs

mark r August 11, 2009 3:35 PM

yo kara ,hope somebody kicks you in the head many times ,you dont deserve to own a beautiful animal like a rottweiler ,bit of luck them dogs will turn and kick your ass , if i lived next to you i would kick you up the road and down the road every day for the rest of your life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zee August 13, 2009 8:15 AM

My 7 y.o. rotti died of cancer last March....I miss him alot....Kara you should be ashamed of yourself.

sweete kiten 09 August 13, 2009 1:51 PM

Kara, you are a very stupid and ignorant person. How dare you punish this beautiful animal by kicking them in the head. The one day that you try this is the one day that they will turn on you, and I would not blame them one bit. You're a true idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sweete kiten 09 August 13, 2009 1:56 PM

I have two rotties Bear and Roxy. They are 2 years and are brother and sister and I love them dearly. I would have never even consider owning these dogs, but once my boyfriend and I did the research on them we were convinced they were the dogs for us. And we absolutely love them. They are truly great and get lots of attention when I walk them in the neighborhood. Rotties Rule!!!!!!!!!!! Love you Bear and Roxy.

If you hit an animal, what would you do to another human?

trish August 22, 2009 3:47 PM

about kicking a pet in the head made me cry first then so angry

sunbearmingham August 23, 2009 2:16 PM

I have a 5 1/2 yr. old female rotti named SunBear, she is the most beautiful and well behaved dog I have ever had the privilege of having for a companion. She is smart, loyal and loving. I do agree that you should never punish a rott or any other animal by kicking them in the hips, but if I ever saw anyone kick them in the head, I think I might turn a little aggressive myself. Take some advice Kara, don't own an animal.

Russ September 6, 2009 1:22 PM

I have a rotti/Lab mix. His name is Gummie Bear and he is the son I never had. He is a joy to do most anything with. My wife is a teacher and he is welcome in her class. The best friend a man could ever have.

bob September 9, 2009 10:10 AM

Pat September 16, 2009 10:16 PM

I think kara should be kicked in the head , I have a big boy named Dylan and would not trade him for the world, kara should have her dogs removed from her

Mia September 19, 2009 September 18, 2009 10:04 AM

I lost my rotti yesterday. Her name is April, she's almost 10years old. She died of cancer. She's the most lovable dog that i've had known. I'm going to miss her until the rest of my life. And you, Kara, you don't de serve to have a pet, any kind of pet. You deserve to be in the jail!!!!!!!!!

Joan September 18, 2009 7:32 PM

My rottie was name camelle, she was 9.5 yrs old. I took her for annual 6 month check up all the tests etc to Banfield dog pet hospital.she had 3 shots Bordetella,giardia-canine,lyme disease shots.everything camme out pos with all her tests. she did have arthoritis in the hips. brought her home after 8 hrs and in 5 hours later she died. Clear water color came out of her mouth .a lot ,this was at 11:30pm and then she quit breathing. I dont know if it was the shots and stress from being at banfield or what. Has anyone heard of this happening? Please let me know jbuchco1740@msn.com thanks

I just lost my beloved 7 yr. old Sammy Rottie 2 days ago. We rescued her from a puppy mill and the poor girl had hip dysplasia diagnosed at the early age of 4 mos. Thanks for the expertise of Dr. Gendreau, (and some of my savings),Sam got hip replacements. SUCCESS until her ACL surgery last December, same specialist, same SUCCESS, until 2 mos. ago when she started limping. Her doggie dr. friend tried conservative approaches to find problem, but finally after an MRI revealed an invasive mass on hip joint, inoperable, possible to treat with chemo..no guarantees...Sammie's back legs were lame at that point. She is now with her other Rottie sisters who crossed the Rainbow Bridge last year due to cancer. I love Rotties, and Kara if I could, I would love to take you and force you to live in a puppy mill cage!!!
