These pictures have been sent around via Email, saying that this fawn followed the Beagle home, right through the doggie door and into the house.

Supposedly this happened in the Bittinger, MD area, but I can’t find the original news story.

Some folks speculate it’s a fake. Well, maybe. But that’s not to say special friendships don’t take place.

My colleague sent me the pictures of the fawn and horses—she took the pictures herself. Maybe the baby feels comfortable near these rather large “deer” since the mom doesn’t seem to be anywhere around.

What kind of special pet friendships have you witnessed? I found this video of an unusual relationship between Momo the rabbit and Pie the hamster. It takes all kinds, and sort of gives me hope that us humans could take a hint, set aside our differences, and get along.
