Scuba Dog Costume
I love watching lean and lanky models as they gracefully float down the aisle at those trendy designer fashion shows. Of course, I can no longer picture myself wearing any of those garments but I can wistfully gaze at them remembering the good old days when they they would have been attractive.
However, as I was surfing the 'net, shopping for an age- appropriate bathing suit the other day, I ran across something that tickled my funny bone.
Are fashion shows are going to the dogs? It appears that we human beings are not the only ones that enjoy showing off a spiffy new outfit. We also seem to love indulging our pets and show them off so we can brag about them.
When I saw this pampered pooch, dressed up to the "nines" in scuba diving attire, while competing in the fashion show division of a dog show, recently held in Manila, Philippines, had me rolling on the floor in laughter. This event has to take the cake.
Of course, Mondex, a five-year-old Chihuahua captured first prize. I think he did swimmingly, don't you?
So the next time you see a human being diving in self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, your mind may wander towards this fetching photograph.
