Shedding
This morning while on the twice monthly Pet Talk segment I do for KXII-CBS, one of our on-camera models happened to be a lovely Siamese mix named Socks. Oh, how I wish that I’d gotten a picture of Socks--but he looked a great deal like my Seren, if you add about ten pounds or so.
And hair.
I wore solid color navy slacks and blue shirt. Within two minutes of meeting Socks, they were covered in short white cat fur. This, despite the fact that Socks’ owner brushed him before his TV debut! And as I petted this lovely, friendly fellow, more and more poofs billowed through the air.

Now, Seren doesn’t have nearly that amount of fur, but she (like all kitties at this time of year) also has been shedding. I even found the occasional hairball mess. If you object to the fuzzies all over your clothing, just imagine how the kitty feels after grooming and swallowing that mess!
Anyway, I pulled out Magic-the-d*g’s super-duper grooming tool. It’s call the Furminator, and is the best thing I’ve found for shedding d*gs or cats! The tiny teeth pull out 90 percent of shedding undercoat, according to the information that comes with this expensive little item. But it’s worth the cost. That’s the d*g-size Furminator--it comes in two smaller sizes as well.

The Furminator!
Just take a look at that wad of fluff that I pulled off Seren after just one session--that’s fur that won’t be on my carpet, clothes, or creating hairballs for me to find barefoot at 2:00 am.

I Use Dinovite too! I have a house full of pets, 5 dogs, a Ferrett, a turtle, a bird, and a chinchilla and the frequently rescued box turtles from the roads by the house.
I use the supplement, because the dogs get a few scoops in their food a day rather than try to catch them for a brushing, it works great, and beleive it or not, they house stays pretty clean, even as pet filled as it is :) www.dinovite.com
