I much prefer a soothing herbal tea

Cats have it made. They are born patient. But then, all they have to do is lie around all day looking cute...while poor Mommy has to go out and do the ....da-da-da-da....dreaded errands. Okay, I thought to myself yesterday, let's start with a nice cup of java. That's easy enough. NOT!

"Regular or decaf?" the sales person inquired.

"Regular," I answered.

"Flavored or unflavored?" he persisted.

"Flavored," I replied.

"Vanilla, Hazelnut, Mocha Berry Fantastic, Chocolate Chi Crème, or Peanut Butter?"

"Vanilla,"

"Black or white?"

"Black."

"Hot or iced?"

"Hot," I said.

"Sugar or sweetener?" he continued.

"Plain."

"For here, or to go?"

"For here."

"Anything with it?" he queried.

"A spoon," I sighed.

"No spoons," he said, finally ending our verbal volley. "Stirrers only."

Just give me the @!%?&%# coffee!!!!!

I grabbed my coffee and my change and sat down, just as another clerk took the first guy's place. I took off the lid...and I spilt it.

Like I said, cats have it made.
