Q: My Boston Terrier, Sushi, has red bloodshot eyes. What could be causing this to happen?

 
A: Are your dog’s eyes bothering her or do they seem to be itchy?  Sometimes allergies can do this just like it can in humans.  Some dogs also just have eyes that are more bloodshot than others.  It is possible that she has an underlying conjunctivitis or other eye problem which can be easily diagnosed by your veterinarian.
