Q: How long after eating can my cats exercise or play? It's a good idea for people to wait before working out, so should I give them some time to digest too?

A: It is absolutely a good idea to let them digest after they eat. Anywhere from one to two hours should be good. Food leaves the stomach pretty quickly in a cat. If they run around too much after a meal they could become sick to their stomachs.
