Is Wet Food or Dry Food Best For My Pet?

Q: Is wet pet food better than dry food? How do I know which I should be feeding my pet?

A: Wet and dry foods each have their own advantages. Dry food tends to be less costly than wet foods. For people with very large dogs, wet food can be extremely costly. Dry food is also best for your pets' teeth. The crunching action helps to keep the teeth clean by preventing plaque and tartar build up. Pets that eat a lot of wet food in their diet tend to have lots of staining and tartar that may require dental cleanings.

Really bad, you never want to give your dog a lot of dairy and fruit. There are treats that can be found that have a blend of those items in them that can be perfectly fine for your dog to have as a treat.

I was told some time ago that if you feed your kitties the dry food their "poo" doesnt smell as badly as if fed the "wet" food

How do you know if you are being scammed by someone selling herbs for your pets and they claim to be a Dr of acupuncture? I want to help my elderly dogs so badly.

I feed my dogs Wellness dry and cooked chicken breast instead of canned. I sometimes add carrots and they like strawberries and watermelon. I have taken an adopted pathetic, starving dog with horrible fur and skin problems and is now beautiful and healthy thanks to the Wellness food. Try it
