Why are My Dog's Ears Cold?

Q:strong> My Doberman's ears are always cold. Is this a sign of poor circulation?

A:strong> It's probably not a sign of poor circulation, but that is a good thought! Are other extremities cold too? If your dog had a circulation problem you would see other signs as well. My dog is a mixed breed and her ears get cold too!

I have a little 3 pound Chihuahua. Her ears are always very cold. I put her on a heated throw blanket set on low. I cover her up and warm up those feezing cold ears. She loves the heated throw. It's her favorite spot in the house!

My yellow lab, Bailey. His ears are occasionally cold. Right now he's sleeping in the sun in the computer room. He's a cutie. I think it's just some dogs adjust to cold and warmth in their own time i guess you could say.

I have a beagle, and on very cold days his ears are cold otherwise he is fine, so it is just for him at least. that it is a cold day.
