Is Dog Eating Grass Sick?
Q: My dog has been eating grass and plants in my home recently. Is he missing something in his diet?
A:strong> There are many reasons why dogs may eat grass and plant material. Dogs are omnivores meaning that they do require fiber in their diets. Grass and plants are a great source of fiber! Some dogs may eat grass out of boredom. Eating grass is only harmful if the grass has just been treated with a chemical or a fertilizer. Some household plants can be very toxic to pets so be sure to find out which one you need to keep away from your pet!

my dog has been eating grass for a day and a half, any time we bring him outside. He has regurgitated foamy liquid, then wants to eat grass, and not his dog food. He has drank some water, but I noticed his urine is very dark. He is a beagle who loves to eat, and with him not eating, I'm really worried. Any suggestions?
