Dogs & Hemorrhoids
Q: My female Shih Tzu has a discharge of blood from her bum and a bump on the right side above her leg. Do dogs get hemorrhoids?
A: Dogs do not get hemorrhoids like people do. It sounds like your dog has an anal sac abscess. Anal sacs are located just inside a pet's anus. There is a material that is secreted into these sacs which has a bad odor. Most of the time these sacs empty on their own.
Sometimes, pets drag their bottoms across the floor which could indicate full anal sacs. If the sacs are not emptied, they can fill up and rupture on the outside of the skin, like what your dog has. This should be treated by a veterinarian since there is likely an infection.

they say to keep the pink tissue moist so the vet can press it back inside of the pup, if it's not too bad. It should be checked by a vet as soon as possible.
