Exotic
For busy people who like the look of a Persian but don't have time for the daily grooming demands, Exotics are the best-kept secret of the cat world. They are bred to look like the Persian in every way with one very special exception: the coat is thick, plush, and short.
The Exotic coat is unique to the breed and gives them a soft, rounded, teddy bear look. Their coat requires little combing and will not mat or tangle.
The Exotic is a quiet, sweet, peaceful and loyal companion. They are not very vocal cats and are easy going and affectionate. Exotics are very comfortable in homes and are not constantly demanding attention. They are fun loving and like to play games with their owners.
Male Exotics are, in general, more affectionate than females. Females can be somewhat more aloof. Exotic kittens are very active. Adult Exotics stay playful and enjoy simple pleasures, like watching water drip from a faucet or chasing paper balls around the house.
