Nancy Taylor, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bideawee, joined the team there in June of 2008, following a distinguished career as a non-profit executive and leader after serving as Vice President of Global Alliance and Market Development for a worldwide biotechnology company.

Since joining Bideawee, Ms. Taylor has been committed to elevating the organization within the New York metropolitan area and stewarding a host of new programs expressly developed to help pets in need. Under her leadership, Bideawee has embarked on the organization’s first meaningful brand development program in its 108 year history that defines and articulates each of Bideawee’s products and services’ role in helping to cultivate and support the life-long relationship between pets and the people who love them.

Ms. Taylor has championed the initiative to embrace technology and digital media as a way to more effectively and efficiently create conversations between the organization and its constituents. She’s been a strong advocate for cultivating and using social media tools to garner additional exposure for adoptable animals and she pioneered the use of real-time physical interactions over the Internet through Bideawee’s Kitty Play Date, which connects the community to Bideawee cats and kittens. Ms. Taylor has also reinforced the commitment to establish innovative private partnerships with organizations that are leaders in their respective fields. Her vision has resulted in collaborations with category leaders including Unleashed by Petco, Publicis & Hal Riney and Spot that have helped elevate the profile of homeless animals to get them needed support and find them loving, forever homes.

Ms. Taylor and her husband Ron live on Long Island with their 18-year-old cat, Buster.
