Kerri Fivecoat-Campbell is a pet writer who lives in the Ozark Mountains with her six rescue dogs and her very patient husband. Dogs have always been a part of her life. When she was a baby, the family dog, Smokey, a German Shepherd/Collie mix would guard her crib, not allowing anyone near except Kerri's parents. Kerri has also written about animals and pets for Audubon and Fido Friendly. She is a former pet columnist for the Kansas Senior Press Service and she currently blogs at K9 Cuisine's Rescue Me.
