Dr. Campion joined the Iams Company/P&G Pet Care as a Nutritionist in 1990, and is currently the Scientific Relations Manager for Pet Care Professional, which includes the Professional Relations, Technical Services Veterinarians and Scientific Communications Teams.

She has worked for The Iams Company and P&G Pet Care R&D for 20 years in various roles including Global Product Development, Global Regulatory Affairs, Global Claims Manager and Products Research. Over the years, she has worked closely with the Iams, Eukanuba and Iams Veterinary Formula Brands for both feline and canine products.  

Dr. Campion received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 1985 from the University of Illinois. She also received her Master of Science (1987) and Doctorate of Philosophy in Nutrition (1991) from the University of California – Davis with a minor in Physiological Biochemistry.  Dr. Campion is a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition and has published and presented in her areas of expertise, including Vitamin K and protein metabolism in felines, and has consulted with a variety of external groups about nutritional topics involving animals.

Marcie and her husband, Jim, have three young sons and a Golden Retriever named Tucker. They enjoy being outside and take advantage of great weather by walking, boating and fishing. Tucker is also a natural in front of the camera, as he was chosen as “Mr. December” for the USGA Golf Course Superintendents “Best Friends” calendar in 2010.
